Mike Trout, the standout player for the Angels, had a severe back issue last year, which might have a negative impact on his career. Costovertebral dysfunction, an uncommon back disease, was predicted to affect Trout for the duration of his career.

But on Friday, Trout provided even more encouraging information on his back. Trout referred to his back as a "non-issue" at his media appearance as the captain of Team USA for the World Baseball Classic.

Trout claimed that his regular warm-ups and exercises have kept his back in good shape, and he feels completely healthy going into the 2023 season.
