There was a contentious missed call—or lack thereof—during the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals' AFC championship game.

Veteran NFL official Gene Steratore said there had been a missed holding call earlier in the contest.

On the Maggie and Perloff program, Steratore noted, "I noticed some limitation on one of the inside linemen.

"So technically, yes, at that point, you have affected that play because you're restricting someone kind of outside the framework or their body," Steratore said. "So they'll look at that when and say yeah, right there that's holding."

"That's it. NFL acknowledges that they made a mistake in not calling Kansas City's win-giving holding. Cincinnati has had two years in a row with game-ending penalties given or missed, and all we get is a "yup we missed it, sorry!" "a supporter stated.

"But at this point, it means nothing. The game was affected. The block on the punt return that was made in the back was the worst. Query him regarding that one, "said a different supporter.
