Paul George Depicts Hamstring Injury Exhaustively

Paul George of the LA Clippers re-tweaked his hamstring, which had previously kept him out of action earlier this season, during the conclusion of the third quarter of Monday night's loss to the Miami Heat.

When asked for details of what happened, and how he views his availability on the upcoming road trip, George said, "Just take it day to day, see how I feel tomorrow. Give me the best chance to be able to compete.”

“Definitely take tomorrow and just get treatment around the clock and try to prepare for the next one. It happened on a drive. I got fouled and went to the rim against Bam. That play right there was late third quarter when I felt a little discomfort."

It is slightly troubling for the Clippers since George revealed the hamstring pain was with the same hamstring that kept him from playing earlier this season. The squad will work out on Wednesday before traveling to Denver on Thursday to play the Nuggets.

The fact that the game is the first of a back-to-back undoubtedly makes things more difficult.

Even if Kawhi Leonard is fit enough to travel, he will only play in one of the upcoming two games because he missed Monday night's game due to sickness.
