Trevor Lawrence's Saturday Record Isn't Great For Chargers

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Trevor Lawrence will be the opponents when the Los Angeles Chargers visit TIAA Bank Field on Saturday. However, they might end up regretting that a different day wasn't chosen to play the game.

This afternoon, NBC Sports reported that Lawrence has a perfect Saturday record going all the way back to his high school years. In high school, college, or the NFL, he has never suffered a Saturday loss.

Lawrence had a 34-2 record as a starter while he was at Clemson. His only two defeats occurred on weekdays during the College Football Playoff. Lawrence faced the Tennessee Titans in his debut NFL game last Saturday. He also triumphed there.

The Chargers' chances of winning in the playoffs depend on their accomplishing what thirty-two college football teams and numerous high school teams were unable to.

However, every trend is eventually reversed. It seems unlikely that Trevor Lawrence will continue to go unbeaten on Saturdays indefinitely. The Chargers are more than capable of being the first club to give him a reality check.

However, it certainly doesn't help them either since Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars defeated the Los Angeles Chargers handily earlier this season. The match will be broadcast live on NBC at 8:15 p.m. ET.
